Meet Bella

Bella is a British influencer who was born into a golfing family. Her father, a PGA golf professional, met Bella’s mother whilst giving her golf lessons. Having always lived right beside a golf course, Bella spent every moment she could out on the courses learning as much as she could from her father. Bella was an extremely talented junior golfer and won several junior championships. Her entire childhood was spent immersed in the golfing world, and she would often come home from school and go straight to the golf club to practice or to help out in the pro-shop.

Bella started playing competitive golf at the age of 5 and represented her home county of Essex. In 2014 she captained the Essex Girls’ Team to victory in the County championships. In her youth Bella was also a keen cricketer – representing Essex on several occasions – and played Tennis and Netball to a high standard. Furthermore, when she was not participating in sporting activities, Bella was pursuing her passion for theatre and acting.

Bella’s dream was to attend a US college and play collegiate golf. She received a multitude of offers but shortly before deciding which one to attend her father fell ill and she decided it would be better to stay in the UK to support her family. Bella was offered a place at Loughborough University, a top UK university renowned for sport having won the British Universities and Colleges Sport Championships for the past 30 years.

Bella studied English and Business at university, specialising in creative writing. Bella was a key member of Lougborough’s golf squad, and during her first year she was the only girl who was selected to join the team and would compete against men from other universities.

Whilst watching the Ladies British Open in 2018, Bella was inspired to create an Instagram account dedicated to golf so she could initially track her golfing progress and stay motivated. Within a couple of months her account had gained over 100,000 followers.

Bella spent her summers off from university gaining work experience on trading floors, with the intention of becoming a money broker post-university.

After graduating Bella went straight into work, but at the same time her social media following was skyrocketing. She was having to turn down exciting opportunities to play in golf tournaments and model professionally. As a result Bella decided to leave her position and create a job she loved.

Bella is extremely excited as to what the future holds and can’t wait to share her journey with you.
